Hi gurus.
I am configuring RAC, while configuring cluster i am facing this errors.
i have followed this steps.
[root@rac5 ~]# /etc/init.d/o2cb status
Module "configfs": Loaded
Filesystem "configfs": Mounted
Module "ocfs2_nodemanager": Not loaded
Module "ocfs2_dlm": Not loaded
Module "ocfs2_dlmfs": Not loaded
Filesystem "ocfs2_dlmfs": Not mounted
[root@rac5 ~]# /etc/init.d/o2cb start
[root@rac5 ~]# ocfs2console
here when i try to add nodes i am facing this error.
Could not start cluster stack. This must be resolved before any OCFS2 filesystem can be mounted.
i have installed below rpms and started ocfs2console.
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1144294 Jan 23 23:28 ocfs2-tools-1.2.7-1.el5.i386.rpm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 145833 Jan 23 23:28 ocfs2-tools-debuginfo-1.2.7-1.el5.i386.rpm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 169193 Jan 23 23:28 ocfs2console-1.2.7-1.el5.i386.rpm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 278225 Jan 23 23:28 ocfs2-2.6.18-128.1.1.el5-1.2.9-1.el5.i686.rpm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 83496 Jan 24 00:10 ocfs2-tools-devel-1.2.7-1.el5.i386.rpm
help me to fix the issues.
kind regard's

Welcome to the forum. Please read our OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read
I cannot assist with your qustion, because I don't use OCFS any more. However, one bit of general advice: if this is a new installation, I would think you should use ASM for your shared database storage, and ACFS for clustered file systems. That is what I always do. OCFS2 does still exist, and is still supported, but really I see no purpose in it with the current release of clusterware.
Your Linux is also very old, you may find that release 5.8 makes Oracle installations easier and more reliable.
